Registration is now open for the 2024 Oral History Australia Biennial Conference to be held in Melbourne, Victoria, from 21 to 24 November.
The conference is being presented by Oral History Australia and Oral History Victoria in the historic and culturally-rich city of Naarm/Melbourne. The theme is ‘The Power of Oral History—Risks, Rewards & Possibilities’.
The keynote speaker is one of the world’s most influential oral historians, the legendary Alessandro Portelli. His address is titled ‘Bread and Labor: The Lost and Found Humanity of Giuseppe Di Porto, Auschswitz Survivor. A twice-told tale’.
