6th Meeting Memory for All in Portugal

The 6th Memory for All Conference brought together more than 50 researchers, archivists, community organizations and students at the MUDE Auditorium.

Across two days, a wide range of oral history projects were shared, exploring themes such as local history, gender, art, culture and resistance.

The meeting provided a space to reflect on contemporary challenges of managing oral history collections, promoting a qualified and practice-oriented discussion on how to organise, preserve, describe, process and ensure access to these materials. It brought together international principles, national experiences and examples of good practice, aiming to support professionals in the archives, libraries and local institutions in the technical, heritage and ethical management of these collections.
