The submission deadline is\u00a0<strong>11 May 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference is being presented jointly by Oral History Australia and Oral History Australia SA\/NT. The theme is the very timely \u2018Human voices, modern technology: Oral history &amp; authenticity\u2019 and features world-leading oral history and technology expert Doug Boyd as keynote speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Doug Boyd, PhD, is the Director of the Louie B. Nunn Centre for Oral History at the University of Kentucky Libraries and is a recent president of the Oral History Association. Boyd envisioned, designed and implemented the open source and free OHMS system, which synchronises text with audio and video online. \u00a0In 2019, Boyd received a Fulbright Scholars Research Grant to collaborate with the National Library of Australia on innovative access to online oral history.
