El t\u00e9rmino cultura material incluye aqu\u00ed cualquier objeto fabricado o modificado por un ser humano, desde la m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a joya hasta los grandes monumentos o edificios, y las formas en que estos objetos se entienden y\/o se les atribuyen significados simb\u00f3licos o de otro tipo. En esta conferencia esperamos explorar dos temas principales. El primero se refiere a los diferentes papeles que desempe\u00f1an los objetos en las historias orales de las iwi, hapu, whanau, y en los relatos de la historia oral nacional, familiar o individual; y el segundo se centra en las historias orales y la cultura material en el contexto de instituciones como galer\u00edas, bibliotecas, archivos y museos (referidos en ocasiones como el sector GLAM)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por lo tanto, invitamos a presentar trabajos que describan y discutan el significado y el sentido de los objetos expresados a trav\u00e9s de historias orales grabadas en una amplia gama de contextos culturales o sociales. En segundo lugar, esperamos que la conferencia tambi\u00e9n explore las formas en que las historias orales se utilizan en exposiciones de museos o galer\u00edas construidas en torno a objetos materiales.
