A lo largo de este tiempo hemos pasado por algunos apuros en la transici\u00f3n a la nueva edici\u00f3n digital de la revista, pero estamos convencidos de que lo que hemos aprendido en este proceso de adaptaci\u00f3n no ha sido en vano, y as\u00ed podremos ofrecer nuevos n\u00fameros de esta revista cada seis meses.\r\n\r\nEn este n\u00famero hemos incluido art\u00edculos que abordan cuestiones te\u00f3ricas y metodol\u00f3gicas de la historia oral. Laurent Douzou, aunque se centra en el contexto franc\u00e9s, nos anima a reflexionar sobre una cuesti\u00f3n siempre presente en nuestros debates: el estatus de los testimonios orales como fuente hist\u00f3rica y la posici\u00f3n de la historia oral en relaci\u00f3n con la historia como disciplina. Siguiendo esta preocupaci\u00f3n por la reflexi\u00f3n te\u00f3rica, Albert Lichtblau ofrece un sugerente texto dedicado a la utilizaci\u00f3n de los recursos audiovisuales y las nuevas posibilidades y perspectivas que abren a la realizaci\u00f3n e interpretaci\u00f3n de entrevistas. La siguiente secci\u00f3n acoge dos trabajos diferentes referidos al siempre fascinante mundo ind\u00edgena de Sudam\u00e9rica. El primero, escrito por David Carey, se centra en analizar los problemas que surgen durante la investigaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de las diferentes lenguas existentes y, sobre todo, por el uso y significado que \u00e9stas adquieren en los contextos locales. Profundizando en esta cuesti\u00f3n, el texto de Carlos Ben\u00edtez explora las tensiones identitarias surgidas en el pueblo kichwa, de la Amazon\u00eda ecuatoriana, como consecuencia de la influencia cultural de la globalizaci\u00f3n en la regi\u00f3n. Hemos incluido para cerrar esta edici\u00f3n un texto escrito por Liz Dore, donde comenta desde una perspectiva \u00e9tica y personal aspectos concretos de un proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n de Cuba.\r\n\r\nAntes de dar paso a la nueva edici\u00f3n, que esperamos les resulte atractiva, queremos agradecer al personal que ha hecho posible esta edici\u00f3n, as\u00ed como nuestro m\u00e1s sincero agradecimiento al nuevo y diverso equipo de colaboradores que han participado en esta edici\u00f3n, por su disposici\u00f3n y profesionalidad. Following this concern with theoretical reflection, Albert Lichtblau offers a suggestive text dedicated to the use of audiovisual resources and the new possibilities and perspectives they open to the making and interpretation of interviews. The next section holds two different works referring to the always-fascinating indigenous world of South America. The first one, written by David Carey, focuses on analyzing the problems that arise during the investigation through different existing languages and, above all, by the use and meaning that these acquire in local contexts. Dwelling further into this matter, Carlos Ben\u00ed\u00adtez text explores the identity tensions emerged from the Kichwa people, from the Ecuadorian Amazon, as a consequence of globalization\u2019s cultural influence in the region. We have included a text written by Liz Dore to close up this edition, where she comments from an ethical and personal perspective concrete aspects of an investigation project of Cuba. Before giving way to the new edition, which we hope you find compelling, we would like to thank the staff that has made this edition possible, as well as our most sincere gratitude to the new and diverse team of collaborators that have taken part in this edition, for their willingness and professionalism.
